Marisat 3
In mid 2000 it should start serving South Pole scientist from 33.9°W. Data
rate up to 2 Mbps. Still serving in mid-2007.
In March 2005, Intelsat requests FCC approval to operate two UHF channels for
NATO needs. Would be (up/down): 307.75/254.15 MHz & 311.15-257.55 MHz.
Those are 500 KHz channels.
