Safir



Iranian launcher based on the Kavoshgar-1, a modification of the Shahab-3 IRBM.

Safir 1 is a 2-stage vehicle with a Shahab-3 (Nodong type) based first stage, a liquid fueled second stage with two engines.

Safir 2 has a 2.5 m diameter first stage with 4 engines. The second stage is liquid fueled. Overall 25 m high, can put 350 kg in LEO.
