The use of
The Satellite Encyclopedia is subject to the following
terms and conditions.
The Satellite Encyclopedia is copyrighted material. It is protected by
the French copyright laws. You may not make any changes or modifications to
The Satellite Encyclopedia. You may not decompile, disassemble, or
otherwise reverse-engineer the software in any way. No reproduction whatever
the method (including internet mirroring).
You may use
The Satellite Encyclopedia on a trial basis provided you do
not violate the protection afforded the licensed software by the copyright
laws, and you agree to the terms of the license agreement. You are entitled to
evaluate the software freely for SEVEN days. If you use
The Satellite
Encyclopedia further on or for COMMERCIAL PURPOSES, you must purchase a
license for its use. If you don't use it, delete it.

most updated version which includes:

If you are a firm that publishes an electronic or paper periodical
related to satellite (in French or English) you may obtain a free registration
and a 1 year update subscription against a free one-year subscription to your
publication.
If you are the author of a book related to satellite (in French or English)
you may obtain a free registration and a 1 year update subscription against a
free copy of your book.
If you are the author of a shareware related to satellite (in French or
English) you may obtain a free registration and a 1 year update subscription
against a free license for your shareware.
Please note we reserve the right to refuse your application.
Title to the licensed software is not transferred to the end user. The end-user
is granted an non exclusive license to use the software on one computer or
computer workstation at any given time. Moreover he agrees to only copy the
software for backup purpose. This also applies for the WWW edition.
Tag's Broadcasting Services may include the buyers' name and contact
information in The Satellite Encyclopedia's promotional materials.
While every precaution has been taken in the compilation of this data,
the publisher assumes no responsability for errors or omissions. Neither is any
liability assumed for damages resulting from the use of the information
contained herein.
We shall not be responsible for any problems or damage caused by the licensed
software that may result from using the licensed software. This includes, but
is not limited to, computer hardware, computer software, operating systems, and
any computer or computing accessories. End user agrees not to hold us
responsible for any problems arising from the use of the software.
We shall not in any case be liable for any special, incidental, consequential,
indirect or other similar damages arising from any breach of these warranties
even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no case shall our liability exceed the license fees paid for the right to
use the licensed software.
In the event of invalidity of any provision of this license, the parties agree
that such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of
this license.
The Winhelp edition of
The Satellite Encyclopedia must be copied
in an unmodified form and must contain all the files required for an automatic
installation. No fee, charge or other compensation may be accepted or requested
by anyone without our express written permission.
Public Domain disk vendors may not charge a fee for
The Satellite
Encyclopedia itself. However you may include
The Satellite
Encyclopedia on a diskette or CD-ROM for which you charge a nominal
distribution fee. If it is included on a CD-ROM you must send us a free copy of
this CD-ROM. The purchaser of said media must be informed in advance that the
fee paid to acquire the media does not relieve said purchaser from paying the
registration fee for
The Satellite Encyclopedia if said purchaser uses
The Satellite Encyclopedia.
Operators of electronic Bulletin Board Systems (sysops) may post
The
Satellite Encyclopedia for downloading by their users without written
permission only as long as the above conditions are met. A fee may be charged
for access to the BBS as long as no specific fee is charged for downloading
The Satellite Encyclopedia files without first obtaining express written
permission from ourselves to charge such a fee. This also goes for Internet and
Compuserve; other online services must apply for authorization. As far as the
French Minitel is concerned, operators are NOT allowed to offer downloading of
The Satellite Encyclopedia.
The above constitutes the license agreement for
The Satellite
Encyclopedia winhelp edition. It supersedes any and all previous license
agreements.
