South Africa
The South African National Space Agency (SANSA) was founded in July
2006.
University of Stellenbosch and its commercial subsidiairy SunSpace are working
on several mini-satellites for earth observation. All should be launched before
2010.
MMsat: Mobile Multispectral Satellite. 6.5 m resolution. Future ZAsat 1
MSMIsat: High Temporal Resolution satellite
MXsat: High Spectral Resolution satellite. 2 to 4 m resolution, already sold to
Saudi Arabia.
