Data Relay Test Satellite

Japanese program to relay LEO satellite signals via GEO satellites. The program must test acquisition and tracking technology and high speed data relay (240 Mbps). Owned by NASDA.

DRTS E (170°E) was cancelled in 2001 and DRTS W was renamed DTRS.
