Downlink: 465.9875 or 468.875 MHz (EIRP > 27.1 dBm)
Uplink: 401.65 MHz
Global Imager (GLI): observes solar radiation reflected from Earth
surface. 23 visible + near-IR and 13 far-IR channels. 1 km resolution.
Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer (AMSR): 8 frequency bands
covering 6.9 to 89 GHz.
Improved Limb Atmospheric Spectrometer (ILAS 2): maps distribution of
gases in the stratosphere
Polarization and Directionality of the Earth's reflectances (POLDER):
measures the reflection of solar light by aerosols, clouds, oceans and land
surfaces.
Seawinds: scatterometer that monitors wind speed and direction. 2 m/s
accuracy.
