On 12 Mar 1999 at 9:02 UT the satellite lost attitude control because of a
gyroscope failure. The service was restored at 14:49 UT.
In Jan 2017 the Ku-band payload was bought by Global Eagle Entertainment Inc.,
and rename the payload as Eagle 1. Licence extension was requested till 27 sep
2022, then till 1 Feb 2027.
