The satellite carried a CCD camera, a radiation detector, an ozone monitor as
well as satellite technology tests. It carried a multi-user store-and-forward
Amateur Radio digital communications transponder. Gurwin could primarily
operate at 9600 bits per second FSK although it was also capable of 1200 bps
BPSK.
