Launch initially planned in 2021. Called transformational Ultra High Density Satellite (UHDS). It's the largest telecom satellite to date.

The technologies included in this satellite will provide more concentrated capacity over high-use areas than any other satellite. The new satellite is targeted at key markets across the Americas and will more than double the Hughes Ka-band capacity in the region. Powered by the next-generation JUPITER System, the new satellite will enable significant increases in service performance, with speeds of 100 Mbps. 500 Gb/s throughput
