Has 3 main experiments on board, that focus on ionospheric and magnetic fields. Also carries an electro-optical camera with 10-meter resolution built by TRW (15 km swath). The camera will provide cartography data for developing digital elevation maps of the Korean peninsula for land use and planning purposes.
