A 200 mW transmitter is located in the satellite, transmitting on the radioamateur 144 MHz (2 m) band using FM modulation. The frequency is 145,812 MHz.

The beacon will send two pre recorded messages in three languages, one recording of the "beep-beep". The frequency of the tone will translate the satellite internal temperature.
