Argentine program operated by the National Commission of Space Activities (CONAE)

Argentina plans other remote sensing satellites:
Cesar (Cooperacion Espana-Argentina): 400 kg, sun-synchronous 613 km, will combine the SAC C payload and the Minisat platform. Panchromatic resolution: 5 m

Saocom A will be the first Argentine satellite with a SAR (L-band, 10 m resolution). Will also have optical sensors. 800 kg. Might be based on an enhanced SAC C bus or on Prima (italian).
